Safety and reporting a raffle

Spot a fake raffle, and report one that asks for money or personal details.

Raffles here are giveaways: joining and claiming are always free.

Warning signs

  • Someone asks you to pay to join, to "unlock" a prize, or for shipping before you've won.
  • A payment link or bank account outside the platform.
  • Requests for passwords, one-time codes or ID photos.

"You won!" messages

Scammers copy real raffles and message people saying they won, then ask for a "processing fee", load, shipping or a code sent to your phone.

  • Check before you reply. Open the raffle's page or Check my entry and see if your entry really won. Real wins show there.
  • Real hosts and our team never ask winners to pay, or for a one-time code, to claim a prize.
  • Messages from a personal account, a new number or a lookalike page name are a warning sign, even if the raffle itself is real.
  • If you were contacted by someone pretending to be a host, report the raffle and tell the real host.

Paper stubs and vouchers

  • Keep your stub or voucher safe until the prize is handed over; don't post a photo of it. Each one works once.
  • Hosts can scan the QR on a winning stub or voucher to confirm it's genuine and not already claimed.
  • If the host signed your stub when you got it, a copy without that ink signature won't be accepted.

Report a raffle

Every raffle page has a Report link. Reports go to our team; raffles with several reports are hidden from discovery while we review them.

For hosts

Hosts can't sell tickets through the platform. Raffles that ask for money to enter are paused, and repeat problems can lead to suspension.
